The John Ellison Bradley House is a Colonial-style home that was built in the 1850's in Arrowsic, Maine. It was moved in 1875 via barge down the Kennebec river by then owner Zebediah Swett to it's new location in Boothbay Harbor.

In 1995, Sue and John Bradley purchased the property which was renovated extensively and restored for six years. John Bradley was a custom builder and real estate developer for many years. He spent part of his youth growing up in Boothbay Harbor. He added a custom kitchen, two Rumsford fireplaces, custom Wainscoting and bookcases to the house and these are just the beginning of the fine woodwork in the house.

The Bradley's opened the 4 bedroom house for business in the Summer of 2001 and named the inn the John Ellison Bradley House Bed and Breakfast.
